When it comes to your overall physical fitness you might be looking for a quick fix, but the most surefire way to improve your overall physique is to apply some basic exercises on a proper schedule. If you are just beginning to work out than you might consider doing full body workouts a few times a week while giving yourself ample time for recovery in between. A sample routine for a beginner might look something like this:
Monday: Exercise full body
Tuesday and Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Exercise full body
Friday and Saturday: Off
Sunday: Exercise full body then repeat cycle
Beginners will want to incorporate some basic movements to help build up their strength and overall physical fitness. While you will need to assess your current physical standing to make sure that you can do some of the more strenuous exercises, it is always best to stick with the basics when beginning. Some good exercises to consider doing are: Squats for the legs, Bench Press for the chest, Rowing movements for the back, and Military Presses for the shoulders. You should consider doing these exercises in the following manner for your beginning routine and in the following order:
Bench Press: 2 times, starting with a light weight and adding enough to make 8 to 10 reps somewhat difficult
Rows: Same as above
Squats: Same as above
Military Press: Same as above
If you do this routine three times a week as described above and couple it with some proper nutrition thing you'll be doing yourself a favor when it comes to your overall physical fitness.
